I know this is a basic routing issue, however I thought I'd ask before I go mucking around too much. I have a SBS2003 running Exchange and Outlook Web Access behind my UC520. The UC520 handles DNS for my voice system, and the SBS box handles DNS for everything else. The issue I'm having is accessing Outlook Web access from behind the UC520. From the WAN side, the I have all the required ports forwarded to my SBS box, and have no issue accessing OWA from outside.(I use webmail.domain.com) However, from the inside all traffic directed at the same address ends up at the login prompt for the UC520. Any ideas? Thanks, |

Create DNS entry to solve it
You can solve this without changing the UC500 config:
Create an entry for webmail.domain.com in your DNS server and link it to your internal IP adress of OWA. That way traffic for webmail.domain.com will go straight to the inside address of OWA without being routed to the internet first.
Without an entry in your DNS, webmail.domain.com will be resolved on the outside address of the UC500. So inside traffic for your OWA will be directed to the internet and back in which causes a problem for the UC500 and most other routers.
