I was reading the Extension Mobility article (http://uc500.com/configuring-extension-mobility-cme), but it looks like I cannot use the 'voice logout-profile' and 'voice user-profile' commands in my UC520. The Q&A (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps7293/products_qanda_item0900aecd80...) shows that it does support Extension Mobility. Anyone have any ideas? |

Extension Mobility in January
Looks like Extension Mobility is set to be release for the UC500 around January.
I have an email into my
I have an email into my Cisco rep, who forwarded it on to the product team. will post back with their reply.
Looks like the feature is disabled
Although the feature works on Call Manager Express on the ISR routers it looks like it is disabled on the UC520 image like a few other feaures of IOS such as dynamic Routing.
When I go to an ephone and try to put in a logout profile here is the exact error message I get.
UC520(config-ephone)#logout 1
extension mobility is not enabled in this image
I think the people who wrote the product literature did not check with the technical team because it does not seem to work.
I hope they enable this feature in the next release.
