Hello, I have been attempting to configure the IP Communicator soft phone for use with the UC500 and keep on receiving 'TFTP not found' errors. I have been using the address of my UC500 as the TFTP address from the preferences options of the softphone. Are there a specific fields in the UC500 where you enter TFTP details? The phone itself has been assigned an extension etc under the 'User' tab of the Telephony section of the UC500 which has recognized my laptops MAC address for the phone type CIPC.

If your configs are default, the tftp server should be 10.1.1.1
Just Right click on the
Just Right click on the communicator when it is loading... then select "preferences" and then "network"

I have used 10.1.1.1 and the
I have used 10.1.1.1 and the phone just sits there trying to register then eventually fails with a message 'Unable to reach TFTP server'. I am connecting to the UC500 via a wireless link where the UC500 has an IP address of 192.168.10.1.
As an aside, what details is the TFTP facility supplying to the softphone?

can you ping the tftp server?
The TFTP server is serving the configuration file to the ipcommunicator and ringtones.
