Hi you guys! I´ve been trying to upgrade Unity to version 3.0.3 from 2.4.1 and I´ve found several problems during the process. According to Cisco site, the needed files for upgrading are the following: cue-vm.ise.3.0.3.pkg 11-APR-2008 176977 (In my case I´m using the spanish language pack) Following the installation guide for unity i open a session in Unity having a FTP server running with all the previous files. I run: software install clean url ftp://x.x.x.x/cue-vm.ise.3.0.3.pkg username xxxx password xxxx Then it starts downloading it but after a few seconds it prompts. Validating package signature ... done Downloading ftp cue-vm-installer.ise.3.0.3.prt1 According to this i notice it tries to download a package that it´s not included in the upgrade. Has anyone tried this?, is there a problem with the package names?, Are those files the correct ones? Thanks in advance for your help. (1 vote) |

I couldn't upgrade, had to do a clean install
Strangely the documentation I found wasn't straight forward and clear. After many many hours and still going... I had to remove my 2.3 CUE and install a fresh 3.0.3 CUE.
Currently going through the CUE Init Wizard.
Curious if anyone was successful with their upgrade?!
re: problems upgrading to V3.0.3
I had problems when I tried to upgrade. I seems it is best to use CCA V1.6. Chose Software upgrade and then CUE module. You need to have all the CUE files available on your local PC, including your language pack. Point the CUE upgrade to the CUE-VM-ISE.pkg then chose your language from the drop down box. After a while you should see a successful upgrade in the status window.
