I am trying to configure an AA script. We currently have a default incoming call AA script working but I am trying to add a feature. Here is a basic layout of our current script. Prompt – (Press 1 for A, Press 2 for B, Press 3 for C) If A,B, or C is busy or does not answer it goes to the appropriate users Unity Mailbox as defined in the DN for that extension. What we would like is, if A, B, or C does not answer or is busy, have another prompt that says Prompt – (This person is unavailable, Press 1 to leave a message or press 2 to speak with someone else) I created a new application in Unity and created the trigger for it and dial-peer. Then I edited the DN for extensions A, B, and C to When you call the extension and it busy or noanwers out, my new app picks up and option 2 correctly brings you back to the main AA application. Option 1 however just brings you to the Unity Voicemail Application and it prompts “Please enter your ID”. I am assuming that is because the call is not forwarded from an extension that has a mailbox, it is forwarded from the redirect of my app. I guess I would somehow need to save the extension that forwards to the app in a variable or something and then send along with the redirect to the Voicemail app, but I have no idea how to do that or if it is even possible. Do you have any ideas on what I need to get this working? |
