Night Answer button

Hello,

Everything I have learned about the UC500 has come from this site, so thank you. I have run into one problem that I have not been able to figure out. Here is the scenario:

Currently all calls are setup to ring to the operator's ext. What I would like is to have a button on the operator's phone that when activated would automatically forward calls to the auto attendant. The operator would press this button when they left for the night and calls would automatically redirect to the auto attendant at that time. Then the operator would come in the next day and press the same button to redirect all calls back to there ext. Is this a possible scenario with the UC500?

Is there a way to set Call-fwd all on one phone and have it apply to all phones?

You can do this automatically by setting up night service - check FAQ 4.2 at the support wiki

If you want to do this manually, the option is CFwdAll softkey but this is done on a per phone basis, not all at once. Most folks use the night service feature.
