New track for the Cisco CCVP

Cisco has announced a new track to test for the CCVP.

They have not announced a retirement for the CallManager 4.1 track since it has a huge installed base.

The new track focuses on Call Manager 6.x.

Also note that the CVOICE class has been revised.  Cisco has done away with Gateway/Gatekeeper and added the content to CVOICE and the upcoming CIPT2 courses making those 5 day classes.

For individuals using Cisco Unified Communications Manager the following path towards certification is recommended:

CCVP Recertification

CCVP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam.
