Hello. I have a simple sequential hunt group configured for our admin group who look after reception calls. Calls coming to our main number are taked by the IVR and directed accordingly. If a caller dial zero they are directed to the pilot for the reception hunt group. Instead of the caller hearing ring tone as they are bounced around the hunt group is is possibly for them to receive MOH until they are answered or finally go to the Reception VM box? Thanks for your help! |

Even if you use the B-ACD
Even if you use the B-ACD script (which I am) the remote caller hears "ringing" until the call actually gets into the queue (i.e. all available agents steped away from there desk).
I can not find away around this... I would prefer a remote caller to NEVER hear "ringing" no matter if it's a hunt group or a simple IVR extension transfer but I can not find a way to do this.
Our previous (cheap) Nortel system had this feature, but can't figure out how to do this with the UC520.
You have to use the B-ACD
It sounds like you want to put your callers in QUE. You can do this with the UC520 and the B-ACD or Basic Automatic Call Distribution script that comes with the box.
