Can somebody help me with the LINE ID option. When a analouge phone line dails in the number is not beeing displayed on the 7940 phone. The line ID is working and enabled. The configuration of the hardware is as follows.
Siemens VOIP Tel port 1 ----> Freeset wich is displaying the number.
Tel port 1 ---> Cisco UC500 --> 7940 Phone, no Line ID is beeing displayed. (ext. 201)
The freeset and the Cisco are connected to the phone 1 port so the building is ringing :-) after 4 rings the freeset is stopping and the UC takes over for the Vm and attendent options. But the LIne is is missing in the display. Ans i have tested that th line ID is beeing send.

try these commands under the voice-port
add the caller-id command to make your fxo port configs look something like this
voice-port 0/1/0
connection plar opx 400
description blah blah blah blah
caller-id enable
Have you configure clid and
Have you configure clid and correct cptone under voice-port ?
eeehh Dont think so..
Can you help me out with this one ?
