It works just like it would with out the phone system.. we use it all the time. the phone's the soft button "Flash" becomes usable and when a users is using an external FXO port and presses it they will get a second dial tone, dial the second number (with out the 9) then press it again to bridge the two calls together. The nice thing about this is you can bridge multiple calls together giving you a mini conference bridge.
Are we talking about the same thing. I have one line at my house with call waiting. When I'm on a call and another call comes in I need to perform a hook flash to connect to the second caller and another hook flash to toggle between calls on the same co line. Also I have a single line Radio shack phone connected to a fxs port that also needs to perform the same function.
Not a call waiting on a ephone-dn. I hope I got it right this time.
