I have finally gotten my hands on a system and trying to get an initial set up with the GUI but can't access the internet.

I have AA setup and cfna and cfb set to 15 seconds. Calls go through the aa and ring to the extension but they never transfer to voicemail.

I am having a problem on ISDN lines disconnecting randomly after about 8 minutes on a active call.Most of the time it disconnects after 9 minutes and 56 seconds.... really strange?

So I'm a SIP newbie :) Been working primarily with PRI and FXO lines but no SIP implementations yet.

We have 2 UC500 in diferent countries.. Now we want to connect this two UC500
how to do it?

UPDATE - I fianlly figured out why the UC520 has trouble with Packet8. Packet8 does not send the phone number in the INVITE URI. They are not RFC-compliant.

I need to set up a dial by name directory. I thought this was already setup in the UC, but I have had a hard time finding/activating it. Does anybody have any tips?

I had a franking modem (9.6 Kbps) hook to UC520 analog FXS port.

I am going to be adding a Cisco7921G phone to a UC520W. At this stage the client is only using the wireless portion of his UC520W for data.

We have a UC520 with 8FXO ports. When a caller tries to make an outbound call, if all lines are busy, they do not get a busy signal. The phone will get dial tone. They can dial the number.

The UC500 has been setup with Configuration Assistant and all works fine including SIP Trunks and Unity.

To remove unused phone loads to free up space on the flash, do I only need to remove the entry under telephony-services (ie. "load 7931 SCCP31.8-2-2SR2S"), the tftp-server entry (ie.

1. Is there a way to program a line appearance in PBX mode?

2. Is there a way to configure the extensions to one of the keys in Keysystem mode?
