FAIL TO FORWARD EXTERNAL INCOMING CALLS

Hi,
I have a problem to forward incoming external calls
My UC520 is connected to VoIP ISP using SIP protocol, all phone fonctionnalities functions correctlly, but forwardins calls not
When I forward a phone to another phone, internal comming calls are forwarded, but external coming calls are not forwarded.

I think this may have to do with caller ID more than anything else. Can you get a deb ccsip message for an external call that is fwded back out? Also your config would help - who is the ISP?

I had similar issues with configurations at my last employer but never found a solution...

It may have something to do with transcoding voice codecs.

Communication to the Unity Express module is using the G711 codec, but I dare say that communication to your SIP provider is using G729r8 or similar......

From my understanding, the transcoding would be from G729r8 -> G711 for the initial call handling by CUE and then to transfer out again would require G711 -> G729r8 again to exit via the SIP gateway.

That's just my thoughts, hopefully someone else can shed some light on the problem
