UC500 and 7971G

Has anyone had any trouble adding a 7971 to their UC500 based system? I have a mix of 7961s, 7941s, and 7911s that have all auto configured with no problems, but the one 7971 I just added is reporting an invalid load ID. I checked the flash for the correct files and everything seems to be in order, I'm about to check the tftp debug output and see if it will shed any light on the subject. Just wondered if any of you guys had run into any problems with this unit and the 7970 series. So far it's a nifty little box- even with the CCA 1.1 limitations configuration hasn't been bad at all.

Ended up solving the problem. Seems to have orginated with CCA. CCA was convinced the 7971 sets were actually 7960s and kept overwriting the phone type in the config. When I changed the type to 7971 manually they loaded fine. Just have to stay out of CCA now, as it flags them and won't update the configuration again until I change the type to 7960.

Glad to see you enjoying the UC520. I haven't had any issue with a 7970 phone on my box.

Dump the CCA

A little off-topic here, but if you want a heckofalot more flexibility, I'd suggest you dive right into CLI config. You'd be surprised at what more you can get/ do.
