SNR on SIP Trunks

I've installed several SBCS systems with SIP Trunks. The problem I find is that when you go with SIP Trunks SNR is rendered worthless. All of the SIP Trunk vendors I have used (Cbeyond, Paetec, XO, AT&T, Verizon) require the phone's E.164 number to allow a call out rather than some digest authentication in the SIP-UA. For me this renders SNR useless because the secondary phone receives only the SBCS caller id and not the calling party's caller ID so you don't know who's calling.
Two questions:
Does any one know of a sip trunk carrier that allows a differnt authentication method? Or does anyone have a different approach to make this setup work beter?

Hello! I think this is my first visit so I wanted to say hi!
We do SNR on SIP for all our
We do SNR on SIP for all our customers, in most cases we have their trunk provider disable CLI whitelisting so that we can present the CLI of the A party, but there are other ways to work around this.
See http://cisco.biz/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps5640/products_configuration_example09186a0080982499.shtml
For most providers, you just need to insert an appropriate diversion header, which means you can then send whatever A party you want, because they will see the diversion header (who the call is being forwarded for).
I didn't see anything that
I didn't see anything that spoke of your diversion header? Do you have a sample config where you have done something like this?

Hi there,
Try reading this document: http://www.markholloway.com/blog/?p=912
It's entirely dependent on what kind of SIP border controller you are connecting your CME to, and the configuration of the service provider. I suggest the following steps:
* Speak with your service provider and ask if you are able to either:
Have outbound CLI unrestricted (ideal, might not be doable)
Alternatively, will they accept a Diversion header to identify you by?
Yes - Authenticate by IP Address
Most places that offer business plans can authenticate via your IP address. You need to call and speak to an Account Manager to organise it. You won't get it on a consumer plan.
These guys can do it but are based in Australia. They are a division of PennyTel which I believe is global.

Even with a static SIP trunk
Even with a static SIP trunk by IP rather than authentication you will still need caller ID whitelisting removed on the trunk to be able to present a CLI that you don't own, or the ability to insert a diversion header that identifies you as having diverted the call to mobile.
Have you ever done either of
Have you ever done either of these suggestions?
