High CPU on UC500

mattcalderon's picture

I have just done an install on the UC 520 platform and had a couple of questions. First I am running the newest IOS 124-20.T and SSL VPN did not work. I had a TAC open and we could not get it to work. One thing I noticed that when I attempted to log in, my cpu spiked to 100% and the crypto thread was using almost 99% of the cpu. After a couple of hours I finally got an engineer that told me that as of 3 weeks ago the SSL VPN is no longer supported on the UC. I took the config of the SSL VPN off and my CPU got somewhat back to normal but still in an hour, I could still spike to over 70%. I only have 18 users on this utilizing a CUE, firewall, AA, ect......just a normal UC install. Has anyone else seen the abnormal high cpu?

20T is not the most stable

20T is not the most stable code. Don't use it unless you absolutlely need the new features it offers. Use the latest XW release instead.
