Distinctive Ringing with CCA 3.2 on UC540

After updating CCA to 3.2 and changing user options to distinctive ringing for internal it still makes no difference in the incoming calls.  
 
I have tried setting it to internal and external and both ring the same from inside and outside the device.  
Have applied and saved the configuration and restarted the device.  Still no difference.  
 
Has anyone tried changing these settings and actually had it work?  Any tips or tricks to getting this set up right?
 
This is on a SPA509 phone.

distinctive ringing

As i understanded from cisco support , the distinctive ringing is from DDI only. 
When you get a call from outtside with DDi , you get an different tone.
