Global Knowledge offers unlimited Cisco classroom training for 4 months for only $4400. Limited time

As many of you know I am a contract Cisco Certified  Instructor with Global Knowledge.  In my years of teaching I have never seen a deal like this.  They are offering All the Classes you want for four months at the price of only $4400.  Usually any one Cisco class is $3200 for a five day class.  This is only being offered for a limited time, probably until the economy in the US improves. It is a great way to build your own bootcamp to get your CCNA,CCVP, CCNP, and Microsoft certs really quickly and relatively inexpensively.

Cisco Introduces New Certification Option for CCNA Voice Candidates

On June 24th, 2009, Learning@Cisco will implement program changes to the CCNA Voice certification.   There will now be two options available for candidates wishing to achieve their CCNA Voice certification: A commercial option and an enterprise option.
The new CCNA Voice Certification enterprise option assesses skills/knowledge related to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0 (CUCM 6.0). It is typically employed by large organizations such as governments, large companies, and colleges.  Passing the CVOICE #642-436 exam will meet the requirements for this option.

The CCNA Voice Certification commercial option continues to use the IIUC #640-460 exam and assesses skills and knowledge related to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express 4.1 (Cisco UME) and Cisco Unity Express (CUE), solutions typically used by medium & small organizations such as companies with less than 2,000 employees, retail businesses, and small school districts.

New CCIE Voice Forum!

There are quite a few blogs out there relating to the CCIE Voice Certification. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel here, but since I am currently working towards my first CCIE lab attempt, I thought I would start a forum to keep track of things that are useful for this exam. Communications Manager Express and Unity Express are portions of the CCIE Voice so I think it is a good fit here on the site.

If you are studying for the CCIE Voice feel free to add your input here. The link direct to the CCIE forum is:

CCNA Voice Exam Cram for Cisco exam 640-480

Just got a new copy of the CCNA Voice Exam Cram. I won't say how great the book is since I was a technical editor for it.  I will however spend a moment talking about the authors.
The book was written by William Burton and David Bateman.  They both have several Cisco Press titles to their credit and  jointly authored the Cisco official curriculum for the IIUC2 Authorized class.
Bill and Dave also currently Instruct for Skyline ATS a Cisco learning provider.

The Book is available at Amazon.  I've provided a link below and am interested in your comments.
