While dialing a number from phone, if you pause longer than a few seconds, the screen goes away and you have to reenter the phone nubmer. Where is the setting for this? |

This is known as an Interdigit Timeout. You can change the timeout variable under Telephony-Service from the CLI:

timeouts interdigit 3

Ok, that works if they hit speaker 9 or headset 9, but I am not talking about that. This is when you have the head set in the cradle a dial 9716, look down at the number, and when you look back up the screen is gone.
Anyone?
