I've loaded CME 4.1 & IOS advipservices 12.4-15(T2) on a Cisco 2691 in the lab to test configuration changes before applying them to my production UC520 systems. This release of IOS seems to be missing stcapp so I have been enable to use the VIC-2FXS interfaces. Can anyone shed any light on this? Is there a workaround or are the FXS ports on this platform unusable? Also, does anyone know how to figure out what mac-address to use under the ephone for a FXS port? |

Only ISR routers and UC500
Only ISR routers and UC500 series support STCAPP. I have the same problem on my 1751-V.
Workaround
I worked around this problem by using a Cisco ATA 186 for analog phones on routers that don't support STCAPP. Then they can be managed as ephones of type ATA.
