Cisco has changed its requirements for it's entry level Small and Medium Bussiness (SMB) Partner Certification. Cisco requires that Company's fill both an Account Manager and Enginer role, though both roles may be filled by one person. The Account Managr role requires the following Exams . . . . SMB & SBCS Certification
The new Select Certification and SMB Specialization has replace the SMB Select Marketing Program designation. The SMB Select Marketing Program is officialy retired on January 31, 2008. For those looking to get certified there are courses available at PEC (Partner Education Connection) for both the sales and engineer roles. This certification requires all 4 online exams to be passed. All four do not have to be held by the same individual. Example would be one employee taking the two sales exams and another employee taking the engineer exams.
