We have 2 blocks of DID's, one that starts with 773, and the other that starts with 259. All of a sudden, the 259 numbers do not work (These are not the area codes just so we're clear).

The CME upgrade process has been made a lot easier with the introduction of new CME tar packages on the following page - http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ip-iostsp
This is actually happening on a 2811 running CME, but as I have so far been unable to get any useful help from any Cisco source, I hoped someone in this forum might have a suggestion on what to try.

In the latest and greatest build of CME 4.3 for a ISR router there is a new feature for an ephone-dn.
It is the octo-line.
Previously you could configure
Thought I would give back a little to a community that has helped so much with a lot of CME and UC500 questions I've had. Here's an issue I ran into with the new 3911 and CME.

Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express is out and available for download at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ip-key
This product is available for the Intergrated Services Router (ISR) platform.
It probably won't be available for the UC500 for a couple of months.

Call waiting is a feature that is enabled by default on all dual-line ephone-dns.
There are some instances where you may wish to disable Call-Waiting but keep other benifits of a dual-line ephone-dn such as consultative transfer and conferencing.
To disable a directory number from accepting call-waiting requests use the
Berbee has some example XML services that are free to use at http://www.berbee.com/public/berbeesoftware/XMLFree.aspx
The problem is that one cannot simply add a service to the url services: a new service always replaces the current service. That why you have to create a custom menu.xml file on your webserver if you still want to use VoiceView Express. (The instructions on Berbee's site are for full blown Call Manager.)
Here's an example menu that I use in demo's for the UC520

jnikolatos, One of the users on the site posted a great tutorial on how to enable the UC500 to receive faxes and then email them out. I've Copied it from the Forum to the Configuration Guide for the UC500. Great work John!
The original Post Follows . . . .

TonyH a TME at Cisco asked me to pass along another great document to the community. This one to help you configure Hardware Conferencing on CallManager Express and the UC520.
I ran into a situation where Message Notification via telephone was not working. The problem was that Unity Express was sending a calling party CLID of 5000; the Voice mail pilot extension.
