UC500.com Cisco CallManager Express, UC500 reference

It looks like Cisco is phasing out the original Cisco Unity Express Network Module and Unity Express Network Module Enhanced Capacity.

The only option to purchase in this form factor now is

Last week I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Oslo, Norway at the local Cisco office to present a short class on the UC520.

A friend of mine, Alex Hannah, has started a new site devoted to Cisco's Unified Call Center Express product.  UCCX.net

As of May 5th UC500.com is officially 1 Year old!!

Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express is out and available for download at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ip-key

This product is available for the Intergrated Services Router (ISR) platform.

It probably won't be available for the UC500 for a couple of months.

Ok, you can tell I'm a big Cisco fan. I'm also a big Apple fan as well.
 

With the launch of the apple iPhone SDK, I wonder (if  when) Cisco will deliver an iPhone softphone that will integrate with CallManager and CallManager Express.

Just an FYI . . .
I've added new feeds on the bottom right hand side of the site. These are Top TAC issues affecting Cisco Unified Call Manager Express, Unity Express and the UC520.

It looks like next month's release of UC520 software will include a version on Unty Express 3.X with all the new features except for the IVR updates (Database dips and such) from the release notes

I saw an intersteng article at CRN today. They reviewed 5 SMB systems, The UC520, Avaya Quick Edition, fonality PBXtra, Adtran NetVanta and the Nortel BCM.
