From my reliable sources, a new ip phone is already in beta test internally at cisco. What it has new, integrated 24 (or more) buttons with dedicated display.

If you are a cisco partner, on the GPL there are now new bundle codes to provide packaged phone licenses together with the purchase of a new cme router.
