Better Caller-ID Capabilities on the way in Cisco CCA2.2 with a better topology view
I'm on day two of beta testing CCA2.2 and noticed a couple of few new features, One is nice the other is a big help for me for sites with multiple trunks.
The topology view has been updated and uses actual pictures of the devices. It looks cleaner. Nice little touch.
What I reall like is the ability to control caller ID per trunk from CCA now. Previously I'd had to go to the CLI to manipulate this with voice translation rules. Now I can set the Caller-ID to be different for a call going to a SIP trunk vs. a call going out a PRI. This is a help.
I also see built in a Built in SIP template for Skype now. Previously you has to download a template from Cisco and add this in. Timeline wise it looks like Skype will be offering their SIP for Skype partner program sometime in November.
I also see some new hardware being supported in CCA2.2 there is more to come . . .

Wanted: Caller name manipulation and external directory
See, what *I'd* really like to be able to do is manipulate the caller *name* on a call through a CME system. Even better would be the ability to query an external directory for this (i.e. lookup the caller's number, set the caller's name).
